Account Deletion Policy

This policy explains how you can request deletion of your Denesene account and associated personal data processed in connection with the mobile application (“App”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
1. Who can request deletion
You may request deletion if you created an account or otherwise provided identifiable information tied to your use of the App. If you use the App without an account, some data may still be processed on your device; see the Privacy Policy for details.
2. How to delete your account
You can submit a deletion request using one of the following methods:
- In the App (when available): Use the account or privacy settings screen and follow the “Delete account” or equivalent flow.
- By email: Send a message from the email address associated with your account to [email protected] with the subject line “Account deletion request” and include your registered email or user identifier if applicable.
We may ask you to verify your identity before completing deletion, to protect your account from unauthorized removal.
3. What we delete
After a verified request, we will delete or anonymize, where applicable:
- Your account profile and credentials (e.g. email or sign-in provider identifier linked to Denesene).
- Content you uploaded for try-on or related features, where stored on our systems and not required to be retained by law.
- Preferences and in-app settings tied to your account.
4. What we may retain
We may retain certain information when the law requires it or when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Examples include:
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
- Billing or transaction records required for tax, accounting, or fraud prevention (if applicable).
- Minimal records of your deletion request itself (e.g. email metadata) for a limited period to demonstrate compliance.
5. Timing
We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of verifying your request, unless a longer period is required by law or technical constraints. You will receive a confirmation when processing is complete, where practicable.
6. App Store and Google Play
If you installed the App through Apple App Store or Google Play, your relationship with those platforms (including subscriptions or purchase history) is governed by their terms. Deleting your Denesene account does not automatically cancel store subscriptions; manage those in your device or store account settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Account Deletion Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the App or this website.
